First Graphene Powers Senergy’s Solar and Automotive Breakthroughs with PureGRAPH

First Graphene (ASX: FGR) has announced a major product release in partnership with Senergy Innovations, showcasing the versatility of its PureGRAPH graphene-enhanced materials across the solar and automotive sectors.

Ireland-based Senergy has launched a suite of seven commercially available products into the UK market, including on-roof and integrated solar thermal panels, along with advanced thermally conductive polymers tailored for electric vehicles and industrial heat exchangers. These developments demonstrate the growing role of PureGRAPH in enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability across multiple industries.

The flagship of the release is Senergy’s integrated solar thermal panel, which recently took out the Best Renewable Product Award at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland’s 2025 awards. Powered by polymers infused with PureGRAPH, the panels boast up to four times the efficiency of traditional photovoltaic water heating systems and can slash household heating energy costs by up to 60 percent.

Senergy’s polymer technology enables complex panel designs with improved conductivity and superior thermal performance, replacing legacy materials that suffer from low heat transfer and limited durability. These systems are now being rolled out commercially, with the UK’s Future Homes Standard legislation — mandating rooftop solar on new homes from 2027 — expected to drive rapid adoption. Senergy is targeting installations across 250,000 homes.

On the automotive front, Senergy has developed five high performance thermally conductive polymer resins through its SenTherm product range. These materials allow the replacement of traditional metal components in electric vehicles with lighter, corrosion resistant, and easier to manufacture alternatives. Applications include battery separators, heat exchangers and components for power electronics.

Michael Bell, Managing Director and CEO of First Graphene, said the release illustrates the growing commercial reach of the company’s advanced graphene materials.

“Senergy’s commercialisation of several technologies containing PureGRAPH is a clear validation of our product’s performance and versatility,” Bell said. “While current order volumes are modest, the scale of Senergy’s ambitions, particularly in the UK solar market, signals a strong ramp up in demand.”

Senergy’s Chief Technology Officer Findhan Strain said the use of thermally conductive polymers offers game changing opportunities for manufacturers.

“Our technology replaces metallic heat exchangers with high performance polymers that are lighter, more durable, and easier to process using traditional moulding methods,” he said. “This opens the door for scalable adoption across energy and automotive applications.”

First Graphene continues to supply its PureGRAPH range across several growth sectors including concrete, coatings and energy storage. With manufacturing based in Western Australia and R&D facilities in the UK, the company is building a global presence as a leader in graphene-enhanced advanced materials.

The successful rollout of Senergy’s products adds further momentum to First Graphene’s strategy of embedding PureGRAPH into high impact, real world technologies aimed at reducing carbon emissions and improving performance.
