Digital media and advertising leader engage:BDR believes it is well placed to benefit from the insatiable appetite for digital advertising in the world’s leading market place, the United States.
The USA is the world’s largest digital advertising market with digital ad spending tipped to reach USD $120 billion by 2021.
Speaking on the sidelines of the TechKnow Investor Roadshow in Sydney, engage:BDR CEO Ted Dhanik said the future of advertising would continue to be digital and the company had positioned itself as one of the pre-eminent providers in the US.
“We have the only truly self-serve Instagram influencer platform in the world currently. The influencer marketing business is growing significantly and expected to continue to grow. Currently, the influencer market is valued at around $10 billion globally,” he said.
The growth in programmatic advertising specifically around video is the core driver for revenue growth and influencer business.”
Mr Dhanik said the company had witnessed significant growth, increasing to 82 integrated partners in its real-time bidding exchange -which is based on financial exchange model – compared to around 40 integrated partners last year.
“We have a further 50 [ partners] in the queue to integrate and those integrations take 3 to 5 weeks up to 6 months a piece so as they come on board revenue starts compounding so we have look forward to is 50 new clients going live soon,” he added.
Last year, engage:BDR posted revenue of around $13 million and is expecting revenues to climb to $24.5 million in 2018 with profitability of between $1.25 – $1.5 million EBITDA.
The Company is also analysing a number of potential complimentary strategic acquisitions.
